Current Status:
AB 1007 has directed the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to develop a strategy for increasing the use of alternative fuels. The final State Alternative Plan adopted by CARB and the California Energy Commission (CEC) sets out alternative fuel goals coupled with a series of implementing requirements. Sep 29, 2005 - Governor Schwarzenegger signs AB 1007 into law. Sep 7, 2005 - AB 1007 passes out of the Senate. Jun 2, 2005 - AB 1007 passes in the Assembly by a bipartisan vote of 49 to 27.
