E2 provides timely and accurate information to its members about pressing environmental issues - enabling rapid and effective action. Our events bring together forward-thinking business people who recognize that good environmental policy can benefit the economy. Many of our events feature prominent scientists, public officials, business leaders and authors. E2 organizes the following types of events:
- Focus Meetings provide an opportunity for members to hear from NRDC experts in small settings. Held during or after business hours, these events highlight cutting-edge research and report on breaking issues salient to the business community.
- TeleSalons occur the first Wednesday of every month and discuss vital, timely topics via conference calls. Often led by NRDC policy experts, E2 members learn of pending legislation and advocacy work on which to take action.
- EcoSalons provide members with comprehensive, accurate information on important environmental issues. Held three to four times a year, EcoSalons feature nationally acclaimed experts and provide an excellent opportunity for you to participate in dialogues and expand your network by meeting like-minded business people.
- EcoTrips, arranged by NRDC to places such as Yellowstone and Baja California, provide Steering Committee members with an in-depth, on-site learning experience on environmental issues.
