New York

Judith Albert is the Executive Director of Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2). She joined following a career in financial services, most recently as a senior executive in investment banking at Bear, Stearns & Co., and prior to that as an investment banker to Latin American clients at J.P.Morgan and Violy Byorum & Partners. She was a corporate attorney with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, and began her career as a program officer with The Ford Foundation in Latin America. Judy is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School. Ying Li joined E2 full time in August 2011 as Program Coordinator. Prior to that she worked for many years in the Development Operations department at NRDC. Her most recent position there was as senior specialist, working on donor outreach, cultivation, events and data management. During that time, Ying also managed events, membership and advocacy for the New York Metro and New England chapters of E2. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and a minor in marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Contact Ying.


San Francisco

Christine Luong is the E2 Manager. She works with the business community to find opportunities to drive economic growth by supporting good environmental policies. Prior to joining E2, Christine worked in the health care sector and managed environmental health and safety projects with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Education Association. She holds a master's degree in public administration from San Francisco State University and a bachelor's degree in environmental science and policy from Duke University. Contact Christine.

Mary Solecki is E2's Clean Fuels Program Director. Mary works on clean fuel policy and advocacy. She is engaged in research, advocacy, and applied policy studies for advanced biofuels, especially the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. She works with leading fuel producers to build a coalition of business support for practical environmental legislation. Through this coalition she has formed the Low Carbon Fuels Network. Mary has been consulting on energy policy since 2008, and has a background in sales and communications. She received her BS in Business from Indiana University and got her MBA from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco. Contact Mary.

Erik Chen is E2's Program Assistant. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, Erik worked for Conservation Strategy Group where he helped with their legislative efforts on environmental and clean energy issues. His projects included writing action alerts, researching policy arguments, building stakeholder coalitions, preparing the weekly newsletter, and planning events. Prior to Conservation Strategy Group, Erik was a Research and Outreach Assistant at the California Natural Resources Agency and a Public Policy Intern at the Office of California Lt. Washington, D.C.

Marc Boom is E2’s Federal Legislative Advocate. Marc serves as E2’s principal representative in Washington, DC and focuses on improving E2’s advocacy efforts to Congress and the Administration. Prior to joining E2 at the beginning of 2011, Marc served as the principal adviser for energy and environmental issues in the office of Congressman Patrick Murphy(D- PA) from 2007-2011 and Campaign Manager for Paul Lang for State Senate from 2005-2006. Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from The George Washington University. Contact Marc.

 

Bob Keefe is an award-winning journalist who spent more than 20 years covering politics, business, technology and national news from every corner of the country before joining E2 and NRDC. He previously served as Washington correspondent for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution; as a California-based national correspondent for Cox Newspapers; technology editor for the Austin American-Statesman in Texas and as an investigative business reporter for the St. Petersburg Times in Florida. Jeff Benzak is E2's Communications Outreach Associate. He helps E2 amplify its unique business voice in the media. Prior to joining E2, Jeff worked at newspapers in Montana, Alaska and suburban New York City, where he covered local politics, sports and business.
