Moving A City: An Innovative Plan for NYC Transit (New York City)
Traffic congestion and transportation inefficiencies in New York City pose considerable costs on our health, our local economy and the environment. While numerous improvements have been made in recent years, huge opportunities still exist to improve our mobility and our quality of life. Sam Schwartz, a former NYC Traffic Commissioner with four decades of experience in city transportation, has recently unveiled a new, comprehensive plan. Join Mr. Schwartz to discuss his ideas on how to improve NYC's roads, bridges and mass transit. Invitations have been sent. Please contact Ying Li at yli@nrdc.org with any questions.
